Jill Stilson serves as Lyons Village Clerk.
Mary Kay Robinson serves as Lyons Village Treasurer.

Several Indian Battles were fought here

The first newspaper published at Lyons and the second paper published in the county was the Lyons Herald. It was started in 1855, by Gideon Hendrick.
